I put 1 cup too much sugar by accident in my pumpkin bread recipe. Is there anything I can do besides doubling the recipe? HELP!

Nope. The only way to get it right is to double the recipe. Just freeze the other loaf—cooked or not.

    You can add a diced dried fruit, such as apricots, which add a little zing to the mix. Or, you might consider topping your bread with a caramel sauce and a sprinkle of sea salt.

    It would be best in my opinion to just DOUBLE the recipe it is hard to correct what happened because it could flop in the oven with all the extra sugar.
