Question by : What are some delicious high alkaline recipes?
I need extra energy in my life, who doesn’t right? My friend told me to change my diet, she said that I need to eat more alkaline producing foods. I am willing to give this a try, but obviously I want the food to taste good so I will eat it. Does anyone know some good recipes that I can try?

I have several high alkaline recipes that I am sure you will love. The first one is pumpkin bread, everyone likes that, right? You will need:
    >A small pumpkin
    >300 gm gluten free flour
    >2 tsp baking powder
    >1 tsp Italian seasoning
First you will bake the whole pumpkin until it is completely soft. Let it cool, then peel it and mash it. Add all other ingredients to it and then knead it, you can add a little bit of water if you need to. Place into small bread pans and bake for half an hour.

Another easy recipe that I have is a refreshing drink. I like to drink this after my workout, but you can drink it anytime. You need:
    >2 large grapefruits
    >4 lemons
    >water
    >garlic
    >ginger grated juice
    >2 tbsp UDO’s choice
    >1 tbsp acidophilus
Squeeze the juice out of the grapefruit and lemons. Add all other ingredients and enjoy!

The last recipe I will give you is a yummy vegetable broth. You need:
    >2 carrots
    >2 celery tops
    >2 beetroots
    >2 cups water
    >3 cups celery stock
    >1 zucchini
    >2 cups peeled red potatoes
After you wash thoroughly, you will mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for half an hour. Strain and enjoy.
