Question by Ally: How do you make Chinese pumpkin rice porridge or “nan gua zhou”?
I’ve had this dish when studying abroad in China: a sweet, orange-colored rice porridge. I believe it’s pumpkin but it could easily be sweet potato/yam. I can make the porridge/zhou plain but I don’t know what to do about the pumpkin part.

here is a link for Chinese rice porridge recipes, and I think u can just sort of blend or shred pumpkin in the porridge. Not really sure, though.
